Dasari Cultural Academy Unveiled the Actress Savitri Life Size-Bronze Statue at Naaz centre,Guntur on 16-10-2011. Rangarao felt very proud and expressed that It was the 3rd statue in Andhra Pradesh. Former Union Minister and film actor U.Krishnam Raju unveiled the life size-bronze statue of Telugu film actress late Savitri.
Rural Development Minister Dokka Manikyavara Prasad, who was also present, recalled that he was Savitri's fan in those days and still watched her old movies. MLC Rayapati Srinivas, popular film actress Radhika, popular Telugu film comedian AVS were also present.
